Author Biography:

Associate Professor Nicki Dowling is an Associate Professor of Psychology in the School of Psychology at Deakin University, with an honorary position as Principal Research Fellow in the Melbourne Graduate School of Education at the University of Melbourne. She is a registered clinical psychologist, with significant experience in the treatment of people with gambling problems and their affected others. Her research interests focus on the identification, prevention, and treatment of gambling-related harm for gamblers and their affected others. She has published over 160 peer-reviewed publications and her research has been presented at over 180 conferences and professional development forums.
