Author Biography:

Dr. Stephanie Merkouris (Ph.D.) is a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow in the School of Psychology at Deakin University. She is currently funded by a New South Wales Office of Responsible Gambling Post-Doctoral Research Fellowship. Dr. Merkouris completed her Ph.D. in 2017 where she investigated the predictors and moderators of treatment outcomes in a randomized controlled trial evaluating psychological interventions for problem gambling. Her main research interests relate to the development and evaluation of interventions for individuals experiencing gambling problems, as well as individuals impacted by someone else’s gambling problems. She is particularly interested in how advances in technology can be used for assessment, intervention and dissemination purposes.
