Journal of Gambling Issues

 2022-04-11

We are writing to share an update on the Journal of Gambling Issues (JGI). Published by the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) since its inception in 2000, JGI is the world’s longest-running, online academic journal dedicated to understanding problem gambling. Since 2020, it has expanded its scope to include problem video gaming and technology use.

As of April 1, 2022, JGI will transfer to CDS Press, a non-profit publishing house. Please visit https://cdspress.ca for more information.

We would like to thank you for your continued support as JGI starts this exciting new chapter. Your involvement has been instrumental in JGI’s success for developments in gambling-related research and policy issues. JGI will continue to support a greater global exchange of knowledge by making content freely available to the public. We eagerly await the next issue of JGI and we hope you do, too.

Please note that the current hosting platform managed by Gambling, Gaming and Technology Use (GGTU) will remain intact until April 30, 2022.

Sincerely,

Nigel Turner, JGI Editor-in-Chief & Chloe Frisina, Interim Manager, Evidence Informed Practice and Professional Learning
