Author Biography:

James L. Yu, Ph.D., is a clinical psychologist and visiting assistant professor at Hang Seng University in Hong Kong. He is a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Asia Pacific Counseling. He has been heavily influenced by phenomenological, existential-humanistic, and psychodynamic traditions. His research interests include qualitative case studies, mental health interventions, theoretical psychology and evidence-based practice.
